Founded in 2004, the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (www.usgbc-fgc.org) is a 501c3 non-profit organization comprising building and associated industry professionals from Tampa Bay, Bradenton/Sarasota and Ft. Myers Naples and 11 counties along the East Coast of Florida.
The Chapter, which has three branches with over 500 members, is committed to accelerating growth in sustainable building and land development practices through innovation, advocacy and partnerships.

The Chapter hosts LEED Green Building Rating System™ workshops and offers other educational sessions and networking events for the region’s green-building professionals.
The FGCC and our three branches offer members a variety of volunteer opportunities, including serving on committees such as advocacy, communications, education, programs and membership.
