Project info

Size56,243 sq ft
This development is designed as a five-floor office building. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with reception room, social room, bathroom with shower for users of the building and commercial spaces. Floors one to five are designed as office spaces. The basement level has the necessary technical and storage rooms. On the roof there is technical space and garden. Vegetation covers the greater part of the roof of the building. Various native species were selected to eliminate the need for irrigation. It not only enhances biodiversity and reduces heat island effect, but also supports municipal sewage system by gradual release of rainwater. The most distinguished element of the building is its dynamic aluminum-glass facade with vertical ceramic elements. This office building restores a compact urban landscape on a previously occupied site. It is highly beneficial in light of its central location. High availability of public transportation enables significant reduction of the parking capacity. Within a ½-mile walking distance from the building, there is rail, several tram and public bus stops. In the building, there are bicycle racks provided, as well as changing room with a shower on the ground floor. Additionally there are parking spaces dedicated for low emitting vehicles. Budynek Biurowy Komandorska will be a new landmark within the historical urban tissue. The specific location, innovative architecture and LEED Gold certification, make the Komandorska office building an ambitious and unique development among Poland's real estate market.
