Jacob Kriss is a former media specialist with USGBC. During his time at USGBC, he served as a primary contact for members of the press while focusing on public relations and marketing outreach strategy.
He earned a master's degree in public relations from Syracuse University after working for several years in financial journalism at SNL Financial and online education at Silverchair Learning Systems, both in Charlottesville, Va.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and has held internships at the Richmond Times-Dispatch; Eric Mower + Associates, a public relations agency in Syracuse, N.Y.; the U.S. Agency for International Development Office of Legislative and Public Affairs; and the New York State Comptroller's Office.
