James Cameron to keynote Greenbuild 2015 in Washington, DC

Acclaimed filmmaker and explorer James Cameron will be the keynote speaker for the Greenbuild opening plenary on Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. Cameron will be joined by MSNBC's Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski for a rousing discussion about meaningful action on climate change.

Cameron is widely known for directing, writing and producing some of the most memorable films of the past three decades, including The Terminator, Titanic and Avatar. As an explorer, Cameron led his eighth deep ocean expedition to some of the deepest trenches in the world.

Cameron is also passionately involved in sustainability issues, working with several NGOs on climate change, energy policy, deforestation, indigenous rights, ocean conservation, sustainable agriculture and the impact of our food choices on the environment. Learn more.
