Keynote speaker

In an inspiring keynote presentation during the March 6 plenary sponsored by TRANE, visual storyteller Matika Wilbur will share her experiences traveling Indian country. With a focus on equity with sustainable undertones, Wilbur’s Project 562 depicts the 562 federally recognized Native American tribal communities and amplifies their historically silenced voices and stories through a collection of breathtaking images. This multiyear, national project celebrates Native American culture and life and counteracts the one-dimensional portrayals of Indigenous cultures presented in mainstream media.
